I engaged Chris Tsokos of Tsokos Property to sell my modest little apartment at 66/8 Kathleen Avenue, Maylands. I interviewed a couple of agents. Chris immediately stood out from the pack as he enthusiastically identified with the advantages of the property that I had always related to, whereas some other agents appeared focused on the limitations and how difficult it would be to clear. He was prepared to go to market with a higher asking price. The package Chris offered was very targeted and economical with no out of pockets including a professional photographer, and his fees were very modest. I was offered the asking price after the first home open and there were no issues with settlement. All up I think I was about $10,000 ahead by contracting him to sell my property compared to going with another agency. Chris is an ethical and committed professional who made himself available at all times during the sale process. As we were selling an older property, I felt he offered good transparency with the property condition and state of the strata management for the buyer so that there were no issues with the sale. My association with Tsokos Property started about 7 years ago when I was looking to purchase an investment property. Chris showed me a property he thought suitable for me that was in my price range and to my specifications. I purchased the property and asked Tsokos Property to manage it for me. My dealings in property mangement with Liz have been effortless. Inspections were carried out routinely and thorough reports were sent after each inspection. If anything needed to be done they advised me and organised maintenance with the minimum of fuss and at competitive prices. If tenants were vacating they were onto it immediately and there was never a time when I encountered any delay in the property being tenanted. As a tenant, sometimes you think that you’re a second class citizen, compared to the owners. One recent experience, HWS broke down, called property manager Vera. She then contacted the owner, and explained the issue professionally. She organised the quotes, obtained approval and HWS was replaced within 48hrs. Honestly, she took care of both myself and the owner. Hard to beat that.

I was renting a unit managed by Tsokos last year, and my property manager Cherry Cable was extremely pleasant and reasonable to work with. All maintenance requests were handled promptly and they never posed any unreasonable demands. Even the move out inspection was dealt with professionally, without any delay or any unfair charges. Overall excellent experience as a renter. Highly recommend Cherry.
